Cloud Computing Integration (Software Engineer)

We have a vacancy for a software engineer with integration experience in a virtualised environment to join the software products team, based in offices in New Malden, Surrey.
We are the sole supplier and integrator of combat management systems (CMS) for the Royal Navy’s surface and sub-surface fleet. We are developing a shared infrastructure (SI) virtualised environment that can host the CMS and other software to support planning, tactical picture compilation, decision-making and weapon control. Come join us and you could be developing the Systems that end up deployed in the Royal Navy’s fleet of Ships and Submarine, used to support the crew policing the world’s oceans, whether delivering humanitarian aid or in combat.
Your main responsibilities will involve:
Your role will be to develop, integrate and support the Shared Infrastructure environment, the CMS and its supporting toolsets.

Your skills and experience will ideally include:
We require a Software Engineer with experience using integrating software in a cloud environment. Ideally, you’ll also have experience with some of the following:
VMware, Real Time Systems, Windows Server Administration, Citrix, Hyper-V, Linux Administration, Networking Cisco/3COM/Dell, Scripting Languages such as VBScript/PowerShell/PHP, Programming Languages such as Visual Basic/C/C++/C#
